![]() ![]() She fitted into both garments perfectly from the beginning, although she is quite tall for her age. MK turned two in the middle of September 2021, and thus it made sense to ask for the size 2T(oddler). Sizing and FitĪs mentioned in the review of the Patagonia Baby Capilene pants, the brand’s sizing is by the child’s age, rather than height as I’m used to from Europe. Still, I have no doubt that both garments will be passed on and worn with great joy by the next child. There are a few more pulls in the shell fabric of the jacket, but it has also been used longer and washed (much) more frequently. Our daughter is not one to shy away from shrubberies with twigs and thorns, but there is only one pull in the fabric in the seat area of the pants. All materials seem to be of the very highest quality. The Patagonia Baby Quilted Puff pants are lined with a lighter 100% recycled polyester taffeta, and there are also reinforcement patches of this material on the knees and seat. The jacket is, however, lined with a buttery-soft single-sided velour fleece (100% polyester – 35% recycled) for extra warmth and comfort, except inside the sleeves (minus the cuffs which also feature fleece) where the lining is the same as the shell material to avoid bulk. The Patagonia Baby Quilted Puff jacket and pants are not surprisingly largely made out of the same materials – a 100% polyester (70% recycled) twill shell, insulated with 100-g THERMOLITE® ECO92 100% polyester (92% recycled). ![]()
